Ten of Cups

     poem by Mary Alexandra Agner

I wish you ten cups

of happiness, nine friends

with whom to raise them

crying the eight cheers

for the seven lives left you

to visit the six wonders

on the fifth moon housed

in the sky's fourth quadrant.

Three times I will drink

to your name, twice more

than the chances you gave me,

the one person who ever loved you.
